Text Animation

Im running powerpoint 2002 and I am having a problem with text animation.
Click on advance seems to have no affect. Im running this on a laptop with a
touch pad if that matters. Please help. Thanx.

You'll need to tell us more about how you set up your animation.

And when you say you're clicking on Advance, what exactly are you doing?

I have a few text boxes set up on one slide and I would like them to crawl in
from the bottom but I do not want them to advance until I click my mouse. I
would like to have one box come up then wait till I click then the next box
etc... When I go to animation options it should be set on click to advance
no ?

As it is now the boxes just crawl in one by one as if it is set on advance
after previous.
Ideas ?
