From the internet options on the control panel, when I go
to Internet properties/general/temporary internet files
and click the settings button, the heading "current
location" is blank. I know the temp internet file is
still where it should be but i don't know how to get it
to show up under the current location. With out this
there I'm unable to download updates or e-mail.

If you know where the Temporary Internet Folder is located, select Move
Folder button and point to the location.

It won't let me pick the folder because the amount of
disk space to use is set at zero and i can't change it.
When I try to use the move folder button it says the file
is to large to put there.

That didn't help, it won't let me delete the TIF
folder. It says the file is needed for windows to run.

Dan,
Delete the TIF folder using the appropriate method for your OS:

A new one will be created on restart.

Hi,
"It says the file is needed for windows to run"
Go back and read the page instructions again .........
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
For 2K\XP systems you need to log on as Administrator
or another user with Admin privileges .....

For 98\ME systems the DOS method is needed.
