temporary internet files

I have a Local Settings\Temp folder . Can I delete all files here?
Also have a Temporary Internet Files folder with a Content.IE5 folder in it.
Is it safe to delete all files in both these folders ?

Hi Don

For the Local Settings\Temp folder - reboot your system, to make sure that
none of those files are being used, then you can delete them.

For the TIF folder - open Internet Explorer and go to Tools>Internet Options
and click on 'Delete Files...'.

I've done the " Tools>Internet Options
and click on 'Delete Files... " but when I explore the TIF folder , I see
the Content.IE5 folder under it with LOTS of files in it . Can I manually
delete these files ?
