This file is a *.flv file in C:\Documents and Settings\Don\local
settings\temporary internet file\content.IE5\DNAEQJEL\ according to
defrag which reported it can not be defragmented and has 453 pieces!

I have "show hidden files" selected in folder options and can NOT find
this file or even its folder DNAEQJEL. "Temporary internet files\"
shows to be be about 242 megs in size but there is nothing visible in
it.

I have run chkdsk /f repeatedly to no avail.

NTFS file system on Windows XP with all updates.

How can I get rid of this thing?

Thanks...Don

By deleting your Temporary Internet files?

By deleting your Temporary Internet files?

I wish it was that simple!

This file is in some kind of twilight zone. File search does not find
it nor is it visible in the path where defrag reports it is located.
In fact its folder is in this twilight zone also. Attempting to
delete it or its folder at the command prompt produces "invalid path."

Solved the problem by creating a new user and under that user deleting
the entire "temporary internet files" folder. Was re-created with no
problem when I logged back on as "Don."
