Temporary Internet Files stored in Content.IE

Linda

My temporary internet files are suddenly being stored in a
folder called C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5
The folder has sub folders such as CP6701MN, LOXL89VK

It appears as though every single graphic image from every
website I visit is being stored here! The files are not
deleted when I use the Tools Bar, Internet Options,
Settings and View Files.

I have to go into each subfolder and delete these images.

Can anyone tell me what I have done to cause this and how
to fix it?
Thanks!

That's how it's supposed to be, Linda, as MS developers designed it. If
you're not having any problems, leave things alone and only delete TIF via
Tools>Internet Options>General>Delete files.
