TCP/IP Transport not installed

E

ekx

Hi,

On booting up a WinXP Pro system I get the following
error message

"TCP/IP transport is not installed"

I am unable to access networking or the internet. I have
searched via Google and KB but have not discovered a
solution to this. Various suggestions are that I need to
reinstall TCP/IP but doing this via netsh has not worked.
I have also copied across the Winsock and Winsock2
registry entries from another Win XP machine but still no
luck.

Be grateful for any help/guidance

thanks

Eric
