TCP/IP Alternate Configuration tab missing

Hi All, I ‘m attempting to setup a laptop with two static addresses as you do
under TCP/IP properties. However, sometime cannot see the Alternate
Configuration tab can anyone tell me why this tab disappears?

Hi,
If you already have an static IP the there is no Alternative configuration
tab. The only way to get that tab back is to change the IP addressing to
Automatic. Here is an article about it:
