Taskbar settings don't save

Hi guys,
Every time I shut down my computer (or explorer.exe crashes) the taskbar
loses all it's settings. Normally I have Quick Launch + Windows Desktop
Search + another toolbar on there but when this happens, they all disappear
and I have to add them all again manually.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
