Hi Guys,
I have just ordered an new computer as this one is old and on it's last
legs. What I would like to now is how do I transfer my Windows address Book
from outlook express to the new computer ( I have a removable thumb drive
256m), and how do I transfer my favorites to the new windows system. You
will have probably said it all before so I apologise, and thanks. Is there
a URL that I can read that will tell me how to do things like this, thanks
again
Regards
Bob

outlook express addres book is a file with ".wab" extension.
look for it and copy it to your flash drive

Outlook express backups:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;270670

For Firefox bookmarks/favorites
Just copy the following file:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\PROFILENAME\bookmarks.html
And pop it back when needed.

Or open up FireFox -> Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks. Within the MB
window click File -> Export and choose a place to save the file.

For IE bookmarks/favorites:
Copy this folder
c:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Favorites
and paste it to the same location in the new computer
