Talking Spell check?

I admit it, I'am a losy speller. I use to use American Haratge talking dictionary with Win 98. I
found that with a little hacking I could move the voice files to the HD and it would auto pronounce
what ever word I wished, along with the correct spelling and a difanition, great for me. The
question being does anyone know of a similar program that will work with Win XP SP2 without having
to keep the program CD in the drive? Any help would be appreciated.

The dictionary component of Expedia encyclopedia does not need the DVD
to be in the drive to work. Also, http://www.dictionary.com has normal
dictionary entries for free, if you join (and pay a fee) you can get
audio pronunciations and other things,

If you create an ISO (image file) of the CD and run it from a virtual CD
drive that should work as well. There are freeware Virtual CD drives that
work very well for this. Here is one for example
http://www.majorgeeks.com/Virtual_CD-ROM_Control_Panel_d4402.html

To create an ISO image file you need a program that will create one from
your CD . Here is a free version that will do just that
http://www.lucersoft.com/freeware.php

Or if you have Nero Ultra or Alcohol 120% or CloneCD you can use those to
create your image and virtual drives.

Thank you for the reply, but I need something that will work both on and offline as did American
Haratge talking dictionary with Win 98SE.
