How to turn off all indexing?

How might I turn off all indexing on all my hard drives? I have found nothing in help as to
disabling all indexing, only how turn it on. Any response appreciated.

Hi,

This turns off indexing:
Click on right click on your hard drive and choose properties.
Uncheck "Allow Indexing Service to.."
After that click ok.
So you should do it for every hard drive!

Disable indexing service:
Go to Start and select Run. Type in:
services.msc
Sroll down to Indexing Service and double click.
Click "Stop"
Choose under "Startup Type" disable and click ok.
