System32\Drivers\Fastfat.sys

My other computer says tha this file is missing or corrpt,, and to insert the
CD-ROM to repair, I have done this and it says press 'R' at the first screen
to start repair, yet i have pressed 'R' on every screen that shows before it
says ERROR.. I have tryed booting it up in all different modes but it wont
let me .. I would be very grateful for any help you might have

Hi

You need to go past the first screen for a 'Repair' install of XP - that
takes you into the Recovery Console. The following article by Michael

did you try running the following from Start>Run

sfc /scannow

You may need to have your XP CD to hand.
