System won't boot

Vicki

It keeps shutting down when I turn on my laptop. I tried
to get it to start in safe mode so I could have windows
repair whatever's wrong but it won't stay on long enough
to get it into safe mode.

I know theres a fix because it's happened before, but the
IT dept. isn't working today and I don't remember what to
do.
