system restore

i have windows xp home ed.
i tried to restore ny system many times but it does not restor
i have tried to pick about 20 diffrent restore points. but every time my
computer restarts i get a message from system restore saying that no chang to
the computer is made and try another restore point

There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.
