System Restore not workingq

Every time that I try to use system restore it always tells me that my
computer cannot be restored to such-and-such a date. I am working on a Dell
PC with MS Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. I have searched for answers
and help, but have found nothing.

I am also having hard time re-installing my printer. I've tried a number of
times to install a Dell AIO 924. The setup wizard goes through its steps,
then just quits. My printer doesn't even show up in the control panel. I have
also tried to have windows look for it, but it doesn't find it. It is plugged
in.

As for the printer - make sure you have the latest drivers/software from
Dell.

You may even need the firmware - although you have to get the driver working
first. ;-)

Did you try the "Dell computer scan for problems", etc. offered here?
