Windows System Restore Problems

I believe that I have a problem and I wanted to run System Restore to go back
to a point before I started noticing the problem. Every time I launch System
Restore, it tells me that my computer cannot be restored to that restore
point. I have tried every one and none of them work. I even ran the
Microsoft Malicious Software removal tool(which found 24 files with issues
including some of the system restore point files). What can I do at this
point?

You really only want System Restore to monitor the Windows partition.
Monitoring other drives is pointless and if they are removable drives it
can lead to problems.

Hope this helps.

If you have AV software you have to disable it before using system restore,
I have Norton & I have to do that & disable 'turn on protection for Norton
products'.

Start your computer in the safe mode and run System Resotre from there.
Works every time!
