You should clean the system, or have it cleaned, avoid doing the things that
caused the infections in the first place, and take steps to prevent it
happening again. Plug the holes.

System Restore, which is built in to XP, won't necessarily help with this
because it's pretty easy for restore points to be infected, so that you
simply re-infect the system when you restore.

Imaging can certainly restore systems to a known state, but you lose any
user data, configuration changes, or updates made since the image.

But if you want to restore the system at every restart, you'd better be very
patient, as restarts will take 10-30 minutes. And you'll need to restore
from something... and be absolutely sure that the image is clean. So you
have to have fix things first, no matter what you choose.

If you move your user data to another drive so that the imaging doesn't
affect that, the problem can be that you move the infection points there,
and so defeat the purpose.

I would suggest that you start with cleaning the system and improving
practices. If the system is really infected, you may need professional
help to track down all the hiding places; sometimes this can be a little
tricky, but can usually work out fine.

Then, get and use something like ccleaner (www.ccleaner.com) to keep the
temp folders and browser caches clear, as these are prime entry points.
Use a decent anti-virus program and update it regularly, and let it scan
regularly. Use a firewall, and a NAT router (this is most of them) if you
have any kind of broadband.

Ultimately, none of these things will help if the user invites infection.
So, learn the things to not do, and stick to that.

Although a clean installation is certainly possible (the method depends
on the particular make and model of your PC), it's most likely
unnecessary in your situation. You should post details of what has
happened, including:

Which virus or viruses is your PC infected with? And how do you know
this?

Are there other malware threats, such as spyware/adware?

What is the make and model number of your PC?

Which version of Windows XP are you running?

Which anti-spyware and anti-virus programs are you running?

Also, you should have a look at:

thanks for the advice but what im looking for is the special software that
could do the task.actually someone has already showed the software how it
works but the problem is he dont want to give it to me .if you're going tol
delete everything in the registry or ruin the registry intentionally.when you
restart the computer it will return to his original working state.so the
advantage of this obviously is, as long a you have a clean pc and having this
software installed in your computer you have nothing to worry bout your
system to be damaged no matter what virus will infect it while using because,
when you restart your computer it will automatically restore to his working
state.
