System Restore Incomplete

I used System Restore a few days ago and when I restarted my computer, it
said that System Restore is complete. But now everytime I boot up, I get
this message: System Restore Incomplete. I turned off System Restore, but
that didn't change anything. What can I do to get rid of these messages?

Hi,

Go to Start - Run and type the following command then press enter.

msconfig

On the Startup tab, look to see if rstrui.exe is starting.

Also check the following registry keys for
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\restore\rstrui.exe -c"
If found, backup each key then delete it. Then reboot.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServicesOnce

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
