System Restore

Restoration Incomplete messages keep occurring. Turned SR off, then on and it
didn't work. Is there something I can do from the command line or in the
system to repair it. I'm running XP Home Service pack 2.

Thank for the help. I've not had this problem for the past four years with
XP. Booting into the safe mode did the job and everything went perfectly. I
will bookmark the website and keep it for reference.

Picking up the thread,
I have Norton AV ver. 10.0.0.359 installed, diabled EVERYTHING I could
find within it and STILL can't do a System Restore except in Safe Mode.
