system freeze up

Can anybody tell me why my system (Windows 2000) freezes
up when I am on the internet? It does not freeze when I
am in any other application. Thanks for your help.

- Scan for spyware

- There may be some third-party browser component that is loading up and
causing problems.
To disable these:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Clear the checkbox for "Enable third-party browser extensions
(requires restart)" found in Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
- Restart
If this works, then you can proceed to delete the one(s) causing the
problem:
- Run Regedit
- Entries for browser extensions will be found in the below key.
Export and delete the suspect ones.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Extensions

- Repair IE

I have win2000 server, It freezes too when Iam doing fast typing or fast
mouse movement!! In the event log it says after reboot unexpected
shutdown!!!! I failed to understand what exactly going on. If any body know
the answer let us know. Thanks for your help.
