Sync Toy 1.2 & .net 2

I am unable to install SyncToy 1.2 as it tells me I need to install .net
version 1.4.

I already have .net 2.0 redistributable installed on my system.

Please fix the installer, as it does not seem possible to get past this point.

I am also having problems with the same message. It seems like it is a good
tool and it would be nice if it was fixed.

..net 2.0 and .net 1.o are different beasts...you do need 1.0 to install
SyncToy even if you have 2.0
