Sync Toy 1.2 minor clitch

I downloaded Sync Toy a few days ago and its brilliant. Prior to this I, when
I downloaded photos from my camera onto my PC I had to remember to copy them
onto my laptop as a back-up, similarly from other folders I have designated,
it keeps everything backedup.

However I have a minor glitch, more of a niusance really. Whenever I
start-up my computer the folder ‘microsoft/SyncToy always appears on my
opening screen.

Is there anyway I can stop this from happening?

I’ve looked in the Programs/startup and no SynchToy. Tried run/MSconfig but
can’t find it there in the startup either.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ron

I'm having the same problem.
I looked in the registry for the "Run" key since I read it needs to be in
double quotes but couldn't find it.
Since no one else has responded to you I guess I'll keep looking.

One thing I did do Merlin, was I renamed the Mcrosoft floder in the program
files to Synctoy. the program still works OK and its stopped popping up at
start-up

Hope it works for you

Someone on a previous post mentioned running synctoy with -r and -h to hide
the program. I just tried it and it appears to work.
