Sync Toy file exclusion list

I have been using a file synchronization tool for several years called
FileSync. It has allowed multiple synchronization pairs and allows for the
exclusion of specific filenames, or file types (by extension).

Would it be possible for the functionality to be added to Sync Toy? If not,
I'll have to go back to using FileSync becuase it's very annoying to have to
exclude 10,000 recurrances of thumbs.db every time I want to sync the folders
between my workstation and removeable media.

Yes, this functionality will be added in the next upcoming release of

I am using Sync Toy now, and had the same reguest. In the meantime,
though... am syncing to a network storage dive, an the THUMBS.DB files don't
seem to matter. They are not needed, and they have no function at the target
location... so I just let 'em go rather than uncheck all those entries (as I
had done fo some time).

Using the current version you could actually just list the files to INCLUDE
using CHANGE OPTIONS. If you are handling only (or almost only) photos and
graphics files you may find this really easy (file extensions separated by
commas, I think). That is working for me in most cases, but I am also using
the application for other operations, and with folders containing a wide
variety of file types. For that reason I still have the issue, and for sure
am hoping the enhanced version gets here soon.
