Sync Toy Stalls

I've enountered a problem where Sync Toy stalls during a preview or run when
it starts "Loading saved information from {Left folder path}". The progress
bars zips along until about half way through then stops.

I tried deleting the folder pair and recreating them. No change.

Both folders are on internal hard drives and contain about 80 GB of data in
105,000 files.

I have another folder pair that works perfectly with about 181 GB of data in
35,000 files.

Any help?

Additional information:

My CPU goes to 100% usage and stays there until I close Sync Toy. Memory
usage is at about 50%. I have 2.1 G processor with 1.5 Gb RAM. When I close
preview I get the message "Preview was stopped early, so selecting Run now
may not completely synchronize these folders."
