Switch Users Option

Jim

I am unable to use this option. A message states that a
program running must be shut down to use it. It also says
that a file CSGINA.DLL is associated with that program.
What program is it associated with and can I close it out?

Hi Jim,

It appears that Cisco VPN Client has been installed in your system which has
modified the default GINA.

To restore the default Windows logon interface:
1. Use Regedit to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.
2. Delete the GinaDLL value name.

Or, use MVP Doug Knox's utility.
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/fix_xp_logon.htm
[Fix Logon/Restore Welcome Screen]. This should reset the default GINA in
registry.
