Sudden Problem with Printer and Office

J

Joe Cilinceon

Here is what I have:

Windows Media Center all current upgrades.
HP DeskJet 882C printer with Windows XP drivers.
Office Developers 2002 with SP3 installed

Now this has all been working fine until today. Some things like saved
business cards will print from Word but a new document will not nor will
Excel spreadsheets, reports from Access program, Note Pad. However Outlook
Express emails and Windows Explorer will as well as several other programs
such as Paint Shop Pro 9 with graphics. It seems to be basically from MS
Office programs only. Nothing has changed on my system to my knowledge in a
few months so no idea why all of a sudden unless a patch has been downloaded
by MS lately.

Any one have any ideas as it just spits out blank paper from the programs
listed above that don't print yet others print fine.

I have an idea for you. I have an HP printer myself and their live technical
chat support is wonderful. If it your printer which I am not sure it is they
can probably fix it. However if it is Word that is a different issue. I
would go to www.hp.com and select support. Then enter your product info and
click contact on the left. Select live chat and ask away. If they cannot
fix it you now know that is a Word problem and can attack it that way. Oh
and it's free and they are open 24/7. Let me know if this helps.
Best Regards,
