Streamed video from BBC website - it buffers, (allegedly) plays at 200+, but
all I get is a collection of "stills" (refreshed about every 5 -10 seconds)
altho the audio stream is perfect, no breaks.
First time connected - BBC website offered choice of players (RealPlayer -
recommended, or Windows Media Player) I went along with RealPlayer - fatal
error, since now I cannot change it. Have associated streamed audio with
WMP, has no effect.
PC SHOULD be up to the task - Athlon 3400+ 64bit on Gigabyte mbd, 1 Gb RAM,
video card has 128Mb memory. Kit is 6 months old, plays/records DVD's no
problem. Cable modem connection speed is 1Mbs.
Plus, shutting down all other progs had no effect.
Friend with lower spec pc and only 512Kbs cable connection has no problem,
video plays perfectly.
HELP please?
