Strange Outlook 2003/Pop Error

Incoming smtp: incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
Outgoing smtp: outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

I have configured my Outlook 2003 with the proper POP3 credentials to hit my
verizon account. When the "Send/Receive" processes it has failed on the
outgoing (incoming worked). When I looked closer and followed the
send/receive tasks in the progress window I noticed that it said it was
doing the "send" but it was referencing the "incoming" SMTP server
(incoming.yahoo.verizon.net). I went back into the email settings and
verified I had it right. And just for giggles I changed the Incoming to
something stupid (aaa.com) and when I hit the send/receive it STILL said
incoming.yahoo.verizon.net for BOTH the incoming and outgoing.

Lastly I just erased and started all over again with the creation of the
POP3 and got the same results. What is going on?

Thanks!

Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? If so, disable
this integration and try again.
