strange disconnect

Hello,

Win2k SP3 TS, WinXP Pro Client RDP v. 3790
(another Win2k Server, Citrix client, same problem but _not_my_ server)

I connect to the TS over the internet. I think, that my internet provider
cuts my connection (eg. every 8 hours). My home network router is always
online (DSL).

Once a day my TS sessions stop responding and after a minute I get a
disconnect message. When I connect again as Admin i get a new session, I can
see that my old session is still "aktive". Also my "normal" user session is
still active.

Why does my TS not notice that there's no more connection and show the
connection as not active? Pls note that eveything is working fine with my
home network, DSL and TS. I simply do not know why the server is showing the
sessinons as active when they are not.

One day I noticed the following:
I realised that my "user"-session did not respond. I switched to the Admin
session that did work. I send a net-send-message to my user-session and the
user session started responding! strange....

Pls. let me know any ideas

Have you tried turning on keep alives? This should help
those active sessions migrate to the disconnected state
better.
