stop mcafee at window startup

I need to install a software on my computer. It failed several times.
It seems that the mcafee(product) causes the problem.

The question is how can I stop mcafee at window startup temporarily?

Have you used MsConfig?

Or why not simply shutdown/exit McAfee?
Usually rt click the icon for options
