I've allowed the McAfee product that came with my new PC to expire and deleted it from my computer.
However, recently it's been popping up to prevent access to supposedly 'dodgy' webpages.
It turns out there's still the remaining McAfee web advisor on the pc, which is free, but I'm still getting pop-ups to try to get me to purchase the full monty!
Is the web advisor an effective tool or has it some other purpose apart from being annoying.
Is it advisable to delete it too and is there a downside to that?
Thanks
