Stop Exception after Standby

After operating normally for quite some time the Win 2000 suddenly started
to have Stop Exceptions after being on Standby. It happens every time. It
restarts normally to the Desktop and then after a couple seconds it Stops
and the system must be reset. Nothing that I have tried has prevented the
occurrence. Help will be very appreciated.
 
For anyone to guess whats going on you will need to post the stop
message at a minimum.
