Still Forgotten Passwords

Bruce

I have three operating systems; 2000, XP Pro, & 2003 Server. I forgot the
passwords, but did get two of them, but not the Windows 2000 one. How can I
get around the log in for 2000 so I can
change them. I reset the administrator password.
I tried Ctrl-alt-del twice--not work,
Need in fast thank you

If you had three cars and lost the keys to all of them then
you would probably ask for some spare keys to be made,
just in case. If you have three OSs, including a server, then
it's probably time to look ahead and create some spare
admin accounts, and lock their passwords away in a
safe place.

For my dime I like the free tool available here (It was on Crouchie's list
but I thought I'd help ya narrow it down a bit):

By the way, don't worry about not searching previous posts - I think it
helps a lot when questions are repeated because if a question were only
posted once then when someone searched Google it could take 50 tries before
hitting on the same verbage in the search that the person used in their post.
Whereas if a question gets asked 5,000 different ways it accounts for many
different styles and verbage.

good luck,

Nick

.. . . because this will not help the OP at all. Your advice relates
to the BIOS password. The OP's post makes it clear that he
has no problem at all with the BIOS password.
