STILL CAN'T SEND/RECEIVE EMAIL

A

Ana Ibis

Hi again everyone!

The only time I get the "Dial-up Connection Box" is when I log into Windows
Mail and then when I try to send email. (Such box asks me to select between
Broadband Connection and Broadband Connection 2. I have tried both and
always get the message "unable to establish connection".)

I am able to go into Internet Explorer just fine.
I changed the port number like someone suggested, but the problem continued.
I have this same email address in Comcast and it works fine, except I can't
send pictures.
The problem began when I tried to open a second email address in Windows
Mail.
It said this second address was invalid, and in addition my first account
stopped working immediately.
I prefer working with Windows Mail. I just haven't figured how to fix it so
I can
send and receive email again.

Please respond with any suggestions.
Thank you!

Go to Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties,
Connection. Uncheck the box "Always connect using..."
This will ensure that Windows Mail uses the same connection
as Internet Explorer. Do this for both accounts.
