I went into msconfig and unchecked some programs from starting up in the
startup tab, when i hit apply and ok i get the "restart windows now or not"
etc.. window like normal, but this time by mistake i checked never show
this window again. and now every time i go in to the startup tab and apply
changes i don't get that ''restart windows now or not window'. Is there
anyway to make that window appear again, so that i can restart windows from
there instead of having to do it manuelly when i make changes to the msconfig
startup window. I know the setting is somewhere in the registry to make it
come up again but i have now idea were

Thanks.

Hi,

Very curious, as I would never have disabled that on any of my machines, and
actually I don't think that dialog box had a 'do not show....' line that you
could accidentally check, yet none of them prompt any longer (just tried it
on all 3 running Vista at home). I don't think you did anything yourself, I
suspect a security update changed a shell file. Can't find anything specific
in any recent update, but I suspect there was a change made.

It's the window where you make the intital change in the startup menu
window.. I know what your talking about the don't show this again in the
future, it's not that one it's the one like i said in the startup tab window
where you uncheck a program and it ask you to restart again or not.
