startup Pop-Ups?!!!

everytime i start up the computer and logon 50 messages
start popping up ,what is it ,or what can i do to stop
these annoying pop-ups????????????????

Download and install both "AdAware 6" and "Spybot, Search and Destroy" [both
free], update them immediately, and then run a full scan of your system to
pull the spyware/addware you are infested with.

What kind of messages?

If they say Windows Messenger Service in the title bars, enable a firewall.

If they say Internet Explorer, install a pop up stopper. If you get popups
while offline, you have inadvertently downloaded and installed spyware or
adware. In both of these cases, you should scan the system with some
anti-spyware software such as AdAware: www.lavasoftusa.com
