Startup Issues/System Restore

I am running XP Home Edition, SP2 on an IBM Netvista desktop. I want to
restore my PC to its original form. When I press F11 at startup, I get the
following message: NTLDR is compressed. Press CTRL ALT DEL to restart. If
I do that and press F11 on startup, I get the same message.

So I don't know how to do a complete restore. Suggestions please.

F11 means different things on different laptops. You need to tell
us what it is supposed to do. If unsure, check your IBM manual.
