Startup folder on desktop

My wife was on the latop and some how she mad a startup folder on the
desktop I tried to move to the trash but it want go. How do I get this off
the desktop?

Right click and the startup folder on your desktop and hold
the mouse button. Drag the folder to the start button and
then into the All Programs pop-up menu. Release the mouse
button and select Move here from the pop-up window.
