starting xp

C drive is dead, it has millennium on it.
D drive has xp on it.

The computer won't start, cannot find NTLDR, it is on C drive which has gone
south.

I want to replace the C drive with a blank, empty drive.
How can I get the NTLDR on the C drive?

Will FIXBOOT work from the repair console?
