Start Thunderbird in my Inbox

Hi-

I'm using Thunderbird version 1.5. I'd like Thunderbird to default to
my Inbox upon opening, but cannnot find a toggle for that action. I've
found the checkbox for showing or not showing the "Start Page", but
turning that off doesn't change the location.

Once again, I'm missing something here.

Any help?

Thanks in advance for any/all feedback!

I had the same issue and think I remember the solution! For TBird to
default to the inbox you need to have the "check for new messages at
startup" checked. It's under "tools, account settings, server settings".
It will then check mail and always default to the inbox. Hope this helps.

Thanks for this reply, Barry. I don't want it to check automatcially,
though. I prefer to control when/if my software checks for messages.
Sometimes I don't want it to do that...

Cool - it looks like this extension offers what I need. Thanks for
this link!
