Start Menu All Programs

Walter Seaton

When I click on the "All Programs" button in the Start
Menu, I get a list which is longer than the height of my
screen. Therefore I have to scroll up or down to get to
some of my programs.

I believe there is a way of laying out the program list
so that anything "below" the screen appears at the side
of the first list. How can I set this up?

Thank you,

Walter

Walter;
Try this: Right click Start/Properties/Start Menu tab/Customize button/Advanced
tab/scroll down to: Scroll Programs, UNcheck it, if it is checked/Uncheck: Show Small
Icons in Start menu, if it is checked./OK and Apply your way out.

Scroll Programs specifies whether to display the items on the Programs menu as one
long scrolling menu or as horizontal pages. Depending on your screen resolution, if you
have more than 29 or 38 programs installed, and you select to have one long scrolling
menu, you can access the programs you don't see by clicking the arrow at each end of the
list of programs. With this item UNchecked; your program listings cover the screen.
