Standby mode!

Someone help me! I have a Windows XP Home Edition Desktop
and the standy by mode has vanished!?!?! Can someone tell
me why?

Hi

What do u mean by vanished. Was it working earlier and were u using stand by all these days

And please note that certain computers only support standby. Contact your manufacturer to determine if your computer supports stand by
