Standby and hibernation crashes

Hi! I'm using a brand new laptop HP NX9010 and everytime
I try going onto standby or hibernate modes, it seems to
work, but it crashes (the mouse doesn't move before the
hibernation) and the keyboard freezes. In standby mode,
the screen also becomes black but nothing happens.
I saw in the event viewer the following message:
"A request to suspend power was denied by winlogon.exe."
Source: win32K
ID: 240
But I'm not sure this is where the problem come from, as
the time of it is not the same as the time I wanted to
standby it.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could help.
Thank you.
