standalone to member server

Is the procedure to make a W2K server a member server
just going to <My Computer - Network Identification -
Properties then, type where it says member of "the domain
name"? Should you or do you have to run dcpromo to make
a standalone server a member server of a w2k domain?

If workgroup, simply make it a member of the workgroup. If domain, join it
to the domain in exactly the same way you would join a workstation to the
domain. No dcpromo
