Stand By Problem

I own a Dell computer with Windows XP. In the past week or so I hav
encountered a problem with the Stand By Command. Every time I use thi
command, the computer shuts down all the way instead of just going t
"Stand By". The computer was scanned for viruses using the lates
version of McAfee and nothing was found. If you have any suggestion
as to what the problem could I would be glad to hear them. Thanks fo
your time.

Senorbum What you need to do is *RIGHT* Mouse click on the desktop,
click *PROPERTIES*, click the *SCREEN SAVER* tab, Click *POWER*, click
the *ADVANCED* tab and down the bottom of that window it has a box
called power buttons and a stand by option located inside it. You need
to tell it that "when you press the sleep button" go into *STAND BY*.

This should fix your problem.
