Speedfan install error

Slarty

Hi,

I'm using XP and have tried to install speedfan but keep getting an "
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction" error.

Can anyone help please?

I works fine here on two different XP machines, one SP1 and the other SP2.

I'd try downloading the installation file again in case the previous
download got corrupted somehow.

Any other problems with that machine?

Cheers,

Roy

I downloaded it 3 times Roy but always with the same result. There
aren't any problems on my machine that I'm aware of! I guess I'll have
to come back to this another time.

Then I can only suggest that either you try an earlier version, assuming
that you have the latest, or wait for a newer version when it comes along.

I should have said before, I'm running 4.24.
