Find Replace, multiple files, single folder?

Hiya,

Anyone got any recommendations for a find/replace program that will
perform on a number of html files in a folder in one go?

Thanks in advance!

Please be quick - I accidentally posted this to talk.origins first and
I'll be dead soon...

Maybe this one

InfoRapid Search & Replace
http://www.inforapid.de/html/searchreplace.htm

Can this or anything similar replace using wildcards ?
I have some html pages where I want to replace the contents of a DIV.
So I want to be able to replace <div id="left">*</div>, where * should
cover the contents of the DIV, with <div id="left">bla</div>, where bla are
the new contents of the DIV.
TIA

Check out Notetab. I think the freeware version will do that.

If you ever find a windows GUI program to do a spell check on all html
files in a folder, at once, then please post here. I haven't been able
to find one.

Regards, John.

BK ReplaceEm http://www.orbit.org/replace/

recommended by MarkTAW on his smallwares list
http://www.marktaw.com/reviews/MyFavoriteSmallware.html
quote from MarkTAW: "This is a great regular expression based search &
replace utility. One of the great things about this software is that you
can save your search & replace strings for later use. Very handy for
repetitive editing tasks, like cleaning up documents you get from someone
else."

Thanks Hengist!
