SPAM/Junk Senders list

Is it just me, or are the junk senders filters in outlook 2000 a worthless
waste of time?
I have spent hours and hours trying to reduce the amount of SPAM in my inbox
but all that has become of it is that I wasted my time...even though the junk
senders list is hugh, the amount of spam I get has not lessened at all. I
tried to change the entries to *@domain.name to try and filter from the
entire domain name, for example, I edited the yahoo addresses to *@yahoo.com,
but still get junk from yahoo.com. I know that spammers are always changing
the source address, so adding one address at a time is useless. After all the
time I wasted trying to use the junk senders list I found that I might as
well not even bothered...and microsoft shouldn't have even bothered putting
that in. It does nothing...

The latter. They're truly a waste.

There are no wildcards in the Junk Sender's list. Just put "domain.name".

Yes, they're a waste of time. They'd have to be, since they're going on 6
years old. Given how many good (and often free) anti-spam programs are
available, you have much better choices. See
