SP2 install twice?

Hi All,
I received notification yesterday that SP2 was ready for download via the
Microsoft globe. I clicked to download, but the download screen & the globe
disappeared!
I have just read a post that said to change my "notify me when updates are
ready, but don`t download" to "automatic download", but if I do this, could I
then install SP2 twice? I don`t want to download now, but then receive
another download from when I clicked download.

That shouldn't happen. Windows Update knows what downloads are in
progress for your machine and what updates are installed. So if SP2 is
in the process of downloading it won't download twice, and once it is
installed it will detect it and not offer that as an update anymore.
