i talk to my son in france on messenger in audio mic and
headphones, when he replys the sound is very choppy but
he can hear me! i have tasted my hardware and is ok.
any suggestions?

Hi,

Try downloading the Shareware version of Roger Wilco. This
is a great (free) software package for voice comms.

If the problem persists then you know it is hardare
related, otherwise it was software.
